CAN YOU SPOT THE HEARTWORM? This is a video of a b CAN YOU SPOT THE HEARTWORM? This is a video of a blood sample showing a heartworm positive dog. These parasites are know as Dirofilaria immitis and infect dogs through mosquitos. Darwin is mosquito territory, so making sure your pet is up-to-date with their prevention is essential. If your pet has lapsed in their prevention, contact the clinic and we'll make sure your pet is put on a preventative schedule that is easy for your to maintain.

Living in the Top End it is particularly important to maintain your pet's preventatives to keep them protected from nasty parasites. Parasites can cause many severe health conditions in our pets. If you haven't wormed or your dog is due, contact the clinic and our nurses will help you protect your pets.

Chewing is a basic need of dogs and when this isn't met they will often chew things we don't like. The more we fulfil this need, the less problem chewing at home. We have lots of puppy sized bones in the clinic, so pop on by and grab some for your pooch.

The specific energy, maintenance and health support your puppy needs from their food depends on their breed and size.
