A bit about us:
Girraween Vets has been in Darwin for many years now re-establishing itself in 2024 when it underwent a new relaunch under new ownership of Dr. Susanna Callow.
Girraween Vets is the first clinic in Darwin to dedicate itself as a stress free practice. We have numerous accounts of patients where their pet couldn’t handle the fear of a vet clinic and now happily greet us at the door.
We take pride in what we do and we believe that all animals deserve to enjoy all that life has to offer and deserve to not be afraid of the vet.

- outdoor consultations
Along with a variety of different services to best help our clients and meet their needs.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for friendly, reliable and compassionate people to join our team! We have opportunities across a range of roles, including;
- Admin/Receptionists
- Veterinarians
- Veterinary Nurses
- Kennel Hands.
We’re looking for people who genuinely care about animals, enjoy working as part of a supportive team and take pride in providing a welcoming experience for both pets and their owners. We want someone who wants to get involved whether that’s in the clinic or in the community. Whether you’re experienced in the veterinary industry or looking for an opportunity to grow your skills, we value a positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn and someone who isn’t afraid to jump in and help where needed. Most importantly, we want people who will bring kindness, enthusiasm and a great team spirit to the clinic.
