Licking of paws can be distressing if it is driving the pet crazy, sure it can be seen at pet emergency, but it isn’t urgent
Animals can lick their paws for many reasons:
– Allergy
– Stress
– Foreign substance
– Grass seed
All need to be seen by a vet but can usually wait until normal business hours.
You can try and ease your pets licking by bathing the feet in clean, cool water to remove any irritants and book in to the vet as soon as possible
