💥🧨 CRACKER NIGHT IS NEARLY HERE!! 💥🧨 ⠀
Have you thought about what you’re going to do with your pets on Territory Day this year? Every year most of our fur babies experience stress and anxiety from the loud noises and vibrations of firecrackers being let off, so make sure you include their needs in your plans ☺️🙈🙉⠀

Here are our tips for cracker night:⠀
🛌 Set them up in a secure room with comfy beds, blankets, and pillows with the window shades drawn, water and food (and somewhere to go to the toilet if you’re not at home!)⠀
💨 Having the aircon & fan on will provide a nice low hum, also keeping them cool⠀
📺 Put on the TV or radio with their favourite show for background noise (If you’re planning on staying home, who says you can’t have a slumber party/movie night with your pets?! 💅🏼🍿)⠀
⛓ Ensure your boundary fence and gate are secure this weekend, and cover any holes or weak spots⠀
🏷 Equipping their collar with an ID tag will help ensure you are contacted quickly if they happen to escape⠀
💾 Check your pets microchip details are up to date⠀
⚡️ Thunder Jackets are available from Girraween Vets, specially designed to reduce anxiety & stress by hugging the pressure points around the body⠀
💊 If you know your dog doesn’t do well on firecracker night, sedation medication can be supplied by the Vet (given that your pet has had a vet consult within the last 6 months)⠀
